Question / Help Nginx can't push to youtube rtmp

A fresh copy of ubuntu and nginx+rtmp. Cant connect to youtube rtmp, but can ping the domain.

Key is hidden with asterics.

Your log shows IPv6 address. Check if you have a working ipv6 connection using ping6.
ping6 b.rtmp.youtube.com

Do you have a working IPv6 connection with good ping6 results?

I didn't setup ipv6...
ping6 b.rtmp.youtube.com results in "unknown host" message...

Spoiler: this worked:

To disable ipv6, you have to open /etc/sysctl.conf using any text editor and insert the following lines at the end:

net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1
net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6 = 1
net.ipv6.conf.lo.disable_ipv6 = 1
