Newbie Question - hotkeys

This is day 3 for me with OBS studio. So far I have connected PTZ webcam via usb successfully. I can see and record videos just fine. I can also pan/tilt/zoom successfully.
Its running on a Windows 11 system. It's the only app running
What I can't seem to get to work is hotkeys. I can make and save the assignments, but when I hit the key I get no response. Do I need to be connected via network connection - so far I have not tried that.

When hotkeys don't work is due to interference by other processes using the same hotkey. Try running OBS in admin mode or use different combinations not used by Windows for the hotkeys.
