Newbie: Need help setting up audio for online teaching.

I am teaching myself OBS and have watched many videos. I need someone to help me set up my audio settings from scratch. I teach with a headset/microphone and would like to use sound effects from audio files that are played with hotkeys. I have been researching for several weeks and can't seem to get it right. I have downloaded and installed the audio monitor plug-in and a virtual cable. Can someone please help me set up all my audio settings: computer, OBS, and venue. I would really appreciate it!

Hi!

I'm new to OBS too but what do you need exactly?
In the "sources" category you can clic "+" and add input sound capture and select whatever you use for it. Is that it?

Thanks for replying. Well, I need someone to walk me through my Windows audio settings, OBS audio settings (including advanced settings), and help me figure out how to get the audio out of OBS and into my teaching platform. I know about the sources, etc. I teach with a headset/mic and I also have sound effects that need to be heard by my students.
