Hello--I need optimal settings to digitize MiniDV and VHS tapes (archiving home movies). I already can capture video/audio fine via video capture to OBS, but I have no idea which settings to use. After searching for a while, I know the answer is "it depends", but I'm hopeful someone has a guide for good video quality vs size, what format to use (we need to easily edit), what container vs format is, canvas and scaled resolution, etc etc. I'm hoping someone has converted dozens of tapes this way and can give me optimal OBS settings or can point me in the right direction. Assume I know very little about details. Thanks so much!
