I need to record a tutorial showing what I do on my computer screen and want to record audio at the same time. Everything seems to be working fine and my green bar shows audio is going into the mixer, but when I go to watch the video there is no sound.

I've looked everywhere I can think of to see what needs to be adjusted and can't figure out what the problem is, please help! Thanks.

BTW I'm going to be explaining using audacity to record and edit audio, is there anything I need to be sure to do since I'll have two programs using my audio sometimes?

It looks like you might not have the right audio devices selected in Settings -> Audio:

Code:
13:44:11.257: WASAPI: Device 'Speakers (3- Samson GoMic)' initialized
13:44:11.298: WASAPI: Device 'Microphone (3- Samson GoMic)' initialized

Are these the correct devices you're trying to record the audio from?

I did get a recording using my computer's microphone array with audio, but there is hiss and a tinny sound. For some reason even though it still shows the green sound bar moving with my Samson plugged in, it won't record it.
I'll look for a tutorial for how to get OBS to recognize my mike.
Thanks

It's the Samson.
I dug out a microphone my dad had given me a while ago, plugged it in and it works fine. Don't know what's up with that, but my problem is fixed and the GoMic is rare enough to not bother with I would guess.
Appreciate your help. :-)
