Newb: HD60 Pro: 2 PCs: I want to record BIOS and desktop.

I'm completely new to this Steaming stuff, so please bear with me.

I just bought an HD60 Pro Capture card and want to record my desktop and recording the rebooting of my machine and sometimes recording my BIOS screens.

Will this card do all of this? What will I need extra if it is possible.

If not possible with this card, what device will?

I will be very grateful for any advice.

EDIT:
I forgot to mention I was told I would need this software. I would like to keep it as simple as possible, so the most basic video app will be fine, or hopefully Windows or Elgato apps will enough. At least until I get my feet wet.

Yes, the HD60 Pro will record any HDMI source plugged into it.

Just to cover the obvious.... make sure you're using a 2nd computer for the capturing process if you're rebooting your main machine.
