Question / Help New user needs help with audio settings.

I need help with an issue i'm having that I think may pertain to audio settings, but could be an issue with the video format entirely. I have it set to be an mp4 so that I can use multitrack audio for editing purposes, but I have yet to successfully record anything in the 2 months I've had OBS due to an audio issue where my game audio is either almost imperceptible (there have been a few times I've heard the louder sounds like gunshots) or nonexistent. I can't see the log at work, but is your game audio at 100%? Also, are you trying to capture pc game audio or console audio?

The game audio is at about a third of what it normally is (which i do so i can hear my teammates and otherwise the game is absurdly loud). And it's PC game audio.
