Okay so i currently run version 14.2 (i know its old) and the new updated version change logs got me a question that i want to be cleared before i update.

"Streams will now always stop after a maximum of 30 seconds regardless" What exactly does this mean, does it mean that every 30 seconds the stream will just stop or is it talking about a 30 second buffer (which is really high and makes sense to be a change).

This is probably a dumb question since i think nobody would want 30 second streams and there are no reports of such a thing but i wanted this to be cleared regardless. I think its just worded a little confusingly.

AFAIK, if for some reason you clicked on stop streaming but the stream would not properly end, or the server would not answer for example and OBS would wait for quite some time or maybe even forever until it closed the stream on its side. So if you now click on stop streaming it will wait a maximum of 30 seconds (except if you have a delay that needs to finish in which case it will ask if you want to wait or cut the delay) .
