Hey folks, I have watched streaming for some time and have decided to try my hand at streaming some games myself. I have downloaded he latest OBS (looks great btw), when i capture the window or desktop containing the game I am playing, it picks up my audio great, and it does "stream", but it only manages a couple of frames before freezing and jumping, so it's not watchable.

is there a MAC idiots guide to setting up a stream to an optimal viewing setting? I know there was one for the Windows version?

Many thanks!

first I would go to Speedtest.net to look for your upload and download speed from there you will be able to figure out how much bitrate you can run and fps you can handle. Also check your graphics card.
