Question / Help New to OBS stream is extremely laggy

Hey, everyone. I brand new to OBS so I have no idea what I am doing but I really want to live stream on youtube. I have a newer laptop with good specs and a very good graphics card I have a dell Inspiron 15 7000 series. My internet is not that fast running at only 1 to 2 MB on average for speed. Everything is working fine like audio and game capture but the live streams are extremely laggy. Remember I am new to this so be easy on me.

Post a complete log including an streaming session-

Via NVIDIA Control panel , config OBS to run on your Nvidia GPU.
Then, use game_Capture with multiadapter compatibility checked.

SORRY: compatibility mode should be used in monitor/window capture.

Sorry when you ask for a complete log what does that mean and a streaming session is just a video of me streaming right?

I mean a log where a recording or, in this case, an streaming session is registered.
