I am new to obs studio and have been having trouble with the settings. I use it to record sims 4 game play, but as soon as i start the recording I get the encoder overload message. By the end of a recording the program will get stuck on "stopping recording" but not actually stopping for more than twice as long at the initial recording and sometimes it doesn't save the full footage and has a lot of hangs. I have a hp windows 8.1 laptop so i don't expect it to be great but i am hoping to at least have 720p and 30 - 60 fps for the videos i record and it has to save in mp4 because my computer doesn't recognize flv. If anyone can recommend settings for me that would be greatly appreciated. Attached is my last log file.
