Question / Help New to OBS. Can't get Window Capture to work

When I first started I was able to get the option to select a different window other than Settings (exe), but now it will only select that when I choose Window Capture. The very rare time that I do get a window capture to select something other than my Settings application, nothing shows up on my screen canvas other than black. I've tried adding OBS to my NVIDIA card, but was unsuccessful.

I'm on a Windows 10 laptop.

What specific windows have you been trying to capture using window capture?

I've been trying to capture Opera or Chrome on my desktop. It seems that it's very finicky and only wants to record Firefox after I open up a Browser on the Canvas.

Chrome needs its hardware acceleration disabled to be able to window capture it.
