Hey guys im trying to start streaming and i just recently finished building my new gaming PC and i have set up everything to start streaming on OBS. The problems that I have occurring with this is, when i am on OBS (before streaming anything) my video skips just with my mouse moving but on the gaming pc its running fine (this is looking at OBS while playing on my gaming pc). when i try to run OBS on the streaming PC theres no issues weather im streaming or not.

I also tried to stream on the Elgato software to see if i get any results from it also. So at the moment my settings were set to 1080p60, everything set to quality over performance. and i get the same result but only to my camera thats connected to my streaming pc(this is before hitting the stream button). as soon as i stream my video doesnt even stream and i get a warning saying that my pc may not be able to handle streaming at 720p30 that i should bring it down to the lowest setting being 360p30.

I even tried tweaking with the quality to performance and i got it to 720p60 with mid quality and performance. and it said that my bandwith was low and i set that to minimum and still that didnt work.

I really am running out of ideas and cant think of anything else other then replace the streaming pc to intel which i really want to avoid spending anymore then what i have spent on my gaming pc. Ill post the spec to both of my PCs below and maybe someone could help me find out a cheap way of going by this without spending to much.

You are going to have to help us understand what your problem is.

So you have OBS on your streaming PC capturing video from your Elgato is that correct? Can you see the video from the gaming PC OK when you are just at the desktop, what happens if you just move your mouse on the gaming PC does this show in OBS preview properly?

yes, and yes.

What happens when i move my mouse on the gaming PC the gaming pc looks fine, but on obs it jumps to catch up to where the mouse should be currently, where it would be on the gaming pc.

Ok well please post a log, details at the top of the forum this will show us what your base configuration is and please also post a screenshot of your Elgato configuration, Right Click on your Capture device in the sources list and choose, Properties, Configure Video. Lastly check you are on the latest version of the Elgato Capture software, details are here:
