Question / Help New scenes not showing sources

I have one webcam and one capture card. I have two different scenes that is using the same webcam but as a different source so I can have different filters applied. When I change from one scene to the other scene using the same webcam but as a different source the source will not display unless I turn it off and turn it back on. I do have the check box marked for both scenes that states "Deactivate when not showing". I saw other people have the same issue but never got a response. I am using OBS studio 64 bit on windows. Any help would greatly be appreciated. I want a black and white scene is why I need this to work.

That's not how you're supposed to do it currently.

You are supposed to use scene as a source for different filters on a webcam.

Have your unfiltered video capture device source, then a scene for each different set of filters.

You can't do that to my understanding. If I add a filter to the video capture devise. It adds that filter to every source that uses the capture devise unless I make an actual new source w/ a different name

I see what you are saying. I got it figured out now. Thanks for the help. Def should be added because doesn't seem that I should have to make so many extra scenes so as not to mess w/ original scene.
