I just built a new machine
win 11
i9 13900ks
4090
128 gigs ddr5
using SSDs for storage.
I never had this problem on my old build but when i stream, virtual camera or recorded or do all 3, after say 5 - 15 mins the OBS footage freezes in the software and people watching tell me ya the stream has not changed for a bit.
i try and stop the recording but it hangs on the button saying "stopping recording" and i can not close the app at this point i need to go to task manager.
another thing too note unsure if related. when i try and do discord screen sharing with out using OBS it also has issues. discord constantly stops my streaming thinking something is wrong, and discord crashes and restarts on its own too only when im doing screen sharing too.
i did update to the lastest NVidia drivers the other night and problem still persisted. I also use NVidia studio drivers, but that was the same on my old machine too.
I use HW monitor software also, and nothing ever shows any signs i am getting close to pushing CPU, GPU or RAM.
my issue may not be purely OBS related possibly something about screen capturing...but google has not been any help and i figure i try here first for help
any help much apricated.
