Question / Help New OBS version problem

Hey Guys/Gals!

Thanks for letting me be a part of this awesome community. I just have a hopefully small problem.

Last night I updated to the most recent version of OBS Studio. I encode in x264, medium preset, high profile, 8000k.

Since the update, it seems it can no longer handle medium preset on my dual xeon server that is just used for encoding. Had to bump down to fast.

Did something change?

@Boildown Thanks you so much for pointing out these logs. I found some things wrong in there. I read log files at my job constantly. Besides the obvious stuff to ignore, like it checking for devices that are not installed (I get that). I also guess it didnt prompt me to install the 2017 VC distributables, which it did after a fresh "from exe" installation of 21.1.0

Let me run with this and see whats up. Thank you again!
