Would like to know if anyone can help me get started with the ability to edit in Photoshop while LiveStreaming on Facebook?

I have already installed the OBS Studio software. I have watched several basic tutorials. At this point, I need someone to actually help me.

Thanks !!

Thank you for that information Koala. I was able to follow the Wizard Configuration and now I can see ME in a LIVE box in the corner of the Black screen on OBS Studio ... but, I would like to LIVE Stream on Facebook while editing in Photoshop. Any guidance to complete this task?

Also, please know that I have been doing some indepth googling and reading about how to accomplish this and just am not having luck.

That is what I am able to insert into OBS but the image is missing and I can't figure out how to manipulate editing so that I can LIVEStream on Facebook.

Window capture only shows the main window of an app. No secondary windows like menus or dialogs. Even the main window of some apps cannot be window-captured completely, for example the ones that use hardware acceleration. Such apps can only be captured completely with display capture. So try display capture.

Right click display capture. Choose Properties. In the dropdown for Crop, select "To Window"

Keep in mind, this is still a display capture and not a window capture. You're cropping out portions of your display that are outside the bounds of that window, but the display captures everything that occurs within those bounds-- so if you put another window on top of that area, it will be captured.

Either I'm blind or you use some development OBS version or plugin that has added such a feature. As far as I see it, 23.2.1, doesn't have a feature to automatically crop a display capture to some window. This is a cool feature I'm waiting for for years, but I don't see it.

Possibly MacOS only? I've rarely used it, it's possible I've only used it on MacOS.

Ah, that explains it, then. I think I just never had cause to try and use it on Windows because game capture exists.

So in that case it would have to be a manual crop and then don't move the window.
