As the title says, while using the new NVENC with the Preset on Quality, I notice that during the loading screens, I get a high encoding warning in the bottom left corner of OBS. It only happens during the loading screens though. Gameplay is a solid 60 fps most the time otherwise. I was just curious to whether or not someone else has had this issue, or if someone knows why this is happening. I mean its not a HUGE deal at the moment due to it only happening when Im technically not playing games, but was curious to know what might be the cause. I don't have access to my log file at the moment, I will try to post that once I get home this evening. My specs are:
i9 9900k
ASUS ROG Strix Z-390 E
EVGA FTW3 Ultra 2080 ti
32gb Corsair Vengeance 3200mhz RAM
Samsung 860 256GB SSD
Western Digital 1TB HDD
Seasonic Focus 850W Platinum 80 Plus
I don't remember my exact settings, but I believe for the encoding settings, mine are:
Rate Control: CBR
Keyframe Interval: 2 (I think)
Preset: Quality (Changed from Max Quality due to the encorder warning originally during loading screens)
Profile: High
Look ahead: Off
Psycho Visual Tuning: On
GPU: 0
Max B-Frames: 2
Base Resolution: 3440x1440
Output Resolution: The one above 1720x720 (Can't remember it off hand)
I will post better details and the log once I get home. Thanks for any and all info in advance. Just looking to figure this out. Seems to be the best method for me so far when it comes to stream quality and staying locked at 60fps due to the Ultrawide.
