Question / Help New monitor > Game lag.

I replaced my old monitor with a new one (Swift Asus ROG Swift PG278Q). My old screen was 1920x1080 60hz. Since I have this new screen, my game started lagging. I have no clue why this happens. I tried to change the settings in OBS Studio, but nothing really helped.

My rig:
CPU: intel i7 4790
CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper TX3
GPU: EVGA GTX 1070
RAM: 16 GB DDR3
Motherboard: ASrock b85m Pro3
Voeding: 650 watt
OS: W10 64 bit.

I can't see what the problem is, has anybody got a solution?

We need to see the OBS log to see if its OBS. Cant see it being if all you have done is change the monitor but to post the log follow this https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/please-post-a-log-with-your-issue-heres-how.23074/

also ensure you record or stream before posting the log so it is contained within it with the issue.
