Got a new camera for our church setup.
New camera output is HDMI (Old output was S-Video).
Plugging into the Intensity Shuttle 3.0. (Have been seriously considering updating this)
Running a previous OBS version (26.0.2) due to issue with Intensity Shuttle 3.0 and last update I installed.
did recently update to Desktop Video 11.7

The issue appears to be a software or setting issue. Camera works when I plug it into a TV...even when running through the Intensity shuttle.

Any Ideas or suggestions as to what to check or change.

thanks for any and all assistance.

Those Intensity Shuttles are notorious for having issues with obs and many other streaming softwares. Does the Blackmagic Desktop Video app at least show what type of signal it's receiving, if any, from the HDMI port? (If it's not seeing it there, it certainly isnt gonna show up in OBS)

Thanks. Tried it.
Changed and saved the setting for video input in the Desktop Video app. Restarted the computer and all that. Checked to make sure it saved.

Still nothing in OBS.

What signal you send ?
Shuttle working with 1080i.
New camera probably send 1080p, change settings in camera.

OBS settings are 1080 60. Didn't realize the "p" or "i" setting on the camera would make a difference.

Changed the camera setting to 1080i60 still get nothing. Thanks for the suggestion.

Okay I can't seem to find the issue. Thanks for all of your assistance.

We went ahead and bit the bullet and purchase an ATEM mini pro. Hopefully it is less touchy with things. However this may change everything with how I run the live stream at church. With the scripture/song lyric lower thirds, recording the live stream, playing videos and etc.

Still learning all this stuff... on the fly most of the time. Nice to have a place to post questions and get assistance. Thanks again.
