I've been using this Macbook Pro Mid 2012 Model for quite some time now and through the years i've upgraded the HDD to SSD 500 GB and RAM to 16 GB.
I'm a public school teacher so this has to be my biggest challenge as of date since I'll be needing to stream my lectures to my students and I would like to engage my learners in a very interesting and motivating way possible. That is why I decided to use OBS after a few researches in the internet. However, I've been having troubles with the following.
I use my iPhone as an alternative webcam in streaming OBS instead of my system webcam since it's just 720p, with my iPhone 6s+ and EpocCam, I can have a better 1080p quality. I use a Sony MDR-XB550 as my headset since it has a built-in microphone that captures voice quality a lot better than my default microphone in the MBP.
I hope some of you here can help me to be a better teacher in this pandemic with the use of OBS.
Thank you very much in advance!

- I used iShowU Audio Capture and did what was instructed in the forums and even suggested YouTube videos to capture my device audio but to no avail. I'm not sure what I did wrong. I followed it step by step but unfortunately it doesn't work.
- When I started to stream via OBS, my MBP somewhat couldn't handle the different profiles/scenes I initially prepared. The frame rate at 30 fps still drops a lot of lag in my streams and my students tend to complain that my presentations tend to be "choppy" and they are having a hard time hearing my audio.
