Hello, I am new in obs and need some help :(
The first one, I heard there is a plugin which displays a green or red dot at the screen when recording, so that you don't need to check the obs window to see if a record is started. Do you know where to find this plugin?
Second, I want not stream, only local record, and also separate audio tracks for microphone and game sound. Well, you can enable this in "output" - "output mode advanced" - "recording" and select your tracks. SO later I can edit the voice in audacity.
However, in this advanced output mode, I can only choose NVENC H.264 as an encoder for streaming (but I don't want to stream). But I want NVENC HEVC (known as H.265)
for smaller file sizes.
Only if I set output mode to simple, down under recording I can choose HEVC. However, in simple mode you can't select separate audio tracks. It records only the audio source.
SO my question, can you record locally in HEVC H.265 and also have separate audio tracks?? :(
