Question / Help Need Help with OBS Twitch streaming settings with slowish internet

im trying to livestream on twitch using obs, but i seem that when i do the settings myself the stream lags and jumps around alot, making it almost unwatchable, so would someone be able to help me accommodate livestreaming with my hardware and internet speed? my upload speed is around 5.5 plz and thank you

what bitrate are you trying to stream at ? 5,5 should be enough for twitch, at bitrates of 0 - 3500 = the unpartnered stream bitrate limit (2000 is the recommend limit), but if you have slow download, you have to work out the best bitrate, when the lag & jump doesn't happen, and use that. I'm just guessing.

Would be best to try a few local recordings, to test out the settings you use.
