Question / Help Need help with OBS "shutting down"

I am using OBS to livestream an osprey nest in our neighborhood. As I post this in February, 2017, the ospreys are not on the nest but they typically start building it in March so I kinda need to get this problem worked out.

To view the stream go to YouTube and search for "Glenlakes Osprey" Choose the "live now" video if there is more than one hit. Sometimes there are historical videos but I try to keep them deleted. Its the live video you want.

Our ISP is Century Link and our service is positively miserable. Like .7 Mbs upload typical. So I have OBS set to 512 bitrate. We expect to have a better ISP option in the next couple months but for now that is what I have to work with.

The stream works hit and miss and basically I think it is as reliable as our upload ISP service but here is the problem I'm having: OBS keeps cutting off. Usually once per day and sometimes once every couple of days. When it cuts off, I stop the stream, File/Exit and then restart the program and it works fine again, typically for a day or so and then it crashes again.

I've tried File/Settings/Output/Preset at everything from faster to ultrafast with no improvement.

I've changed the File/Advanced/Automatically Reconnect to 10000 tries with a 10 second delay and this didn't help.

In the log file attached this particular crash occurred at 05:27. Here is the relevant portion but I have attached the full log file.

03:28:44.610: [rtmp stream: 'simple_stream'] Connection to rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2 successful
05:27:43.390: Last log entry repeated for 54 more lines
05:27:43.390: ==== Shutting down ==================================================
05:27:43.396: Switched to scene '(null)'
05:27:43.405: WASAPI: Device 'Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)' Terminated
05:27:43.414: WASAPI: Device 'Microphone (Realtek High Definition Audio)' Terminated
05:27:43.420: All scene data cleared
05:27:43.420: ------------------------------------------------
05:27:43.422: [rtmp stream: 'simple_stream'] User stopped the stream
05:27:43.423: Output 'simple_stream': stopping
05:27:43.423: Output 'simple_stream': Total encoded frames: 214183
05:27:43.423: Output 'simple_stream': Total drawn frames: 214184
05:27:43.540: Freeing OBS context data

Where it says "05:27:43.422: [rtmp stream: 'simple_stream'] User stopped the stream" that is not because I stopped the stream manually. I have no idea what "User" this refers to but it ain't me.

The problem certainly seems to lie in these two lines;

03:28:44.610: [rtmp stream: 'simple_stream'] Connection to rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2 successful
05:27:43.390: Last log entry repeated for 54 more lines

but, I'm not sure what to do about it.

Thanks in advance for trying to help me.

Mike
