So recently i invested in an AT2035 XLR microphone, and also a Wharfdale Pro 502 USB mixer. The main issue i have right now is that the main out cables play both the line in audio and my microphone audio, is there a way to only select the microphone as an output device rather than both microphone and line in?

Mixers mix audio signals together, it's what they're for. I don't know if there are any experts on your particular mixer on this forum, but if you can't find out how to do it from the manual, the chances are pretty good that you can't do it.

If your question is about the "return" audio from your computer coming into the mixer that is controlled by a knob labeled "USB IN".

I currently use the quarter inch main outs as my input device for my computer. Similarly, I use the quarter inch line in as my output device. The USB is connected to my other PC.
