Hi! I'm struggling a bit with getting the right settings for a live stream on Facebook. The setup for the live stream is a camera+ two microphones connected to a Zoom H6 recorder. Sometimes during streaming I've discovered the the "Encoder overload" pop up and basically ruining the live stream by making it choppy and laggy. I've used Adobe Audition to record the audio since the audio is published as a podcast later on. Is this really necessary or will the recorded audio from OBS be at a fair level of quality? I've just noticed the recording encoder used "medium" while my stream uses "superfast", these presets should be equal right? The following log files are from the three last streams. Any help to tweak the OBS settings for a more stable stream would be much appreciated because I'm a bit lost at the moment :)

Mac specs:
MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012)
2,6 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1 GB
Network speed:
60 mbps download, 58 mbps upload
Wired through ethernet cable

There is no way in heck that machine could handle using the Medium CPU preset. Veryfast, superfast or ultrafast are your best bets. Recording and streaming don't have to be the same-- if you want them to be the same, you can set your recording output to "use streaming encoder".

If you're getting an encoder overloaded message, go to a faster preset.
