So I just spend about $800 upgrading my PC with this new GPU, the NVIDIA GTX 1080 and I spent more on a new CPU, the I7 7700k because I really wanted to get into streaming and my past I7 6700 and GTX 1060 couldn't do it too great. I began doing a test stream today on Star Wars Battlefront 2, the beta for PC. I could stream in 720p at 60fps flawlessly Ultra settings and still get 60fps in game for the space battles, which seems pretty hard to run with it being one of the best looking games. I tried doing the same with the ground mode and it is a lot harder and I can't exactly stream that for some reason even though I did all this upgrading. Then I tried a Fortnite stream, that game looks like anyone would be able to stream it, doesn't look like it would take too much, especially compared to a game like Star Wars. But no, couldn't even get decent frames in game while streaming with the game settings on low. Please help, I would love to stream Fortnite and PUBG and all these other games, kinda the reason why I upgraded. Without OBS running, these games run super well 100+ frames with this new setup, I just want to know why it is so hard to stream, I see other streamers with the same setup of a 1080 and 7700k, why cant I do it?
