Looking for some help with finding the right settings for OBS, I have tried to use mp4, for my recording and x264 recording and got some major stuttering with x264 and mp4 looked very low quality and seemed to have a slow framerate during recording but gameplay was at over 60 fps during recording.
Im curious if anyone knows of any recording formats that I can try and maybe some settings tweaks that can make my recordings come out smooth and crisp.
I have been recording with a bitrate of 30k.
My Hardware is as follows for reference:
Intel Core i5 6600k@4.2ghz
8gb DDR4 2800 Mhz Ram
256Gb Samsung 850 evo ssd
1tb seagate barracuda 7200rpm hdd 64mb cache
1tb seagate Hdd 7200rpm 32mb cache (Recording Drive) Benchmarks around 98mb write speed.
Msi Armor Edition Rx 480 OC 8gb
Windows 10 Home 64 Bit.
