Hello, Im trying to record a clip from a game. Not stream. All I need is how I should optimize the system. I have a 4k native screen but the video game is in 25xx X 1400. Im getting an encoding error saying that its too large and that I should reduce it, but I cant find the screen where I do so. Right now I have it set to output to flv or mkv. My system should handle the highest setting with 16gb ram and 8 cores, but it says I should try a different encoder. Right now I have x264 and quicksync.264 and I dont know the difference. Right now I cant get it to work right so any help would be appreciated. base canvas is 3840x2160. I can set the game to what I like which is the 25xx X 1400 or back to 4k. Let me know what is best please and where to find the rollback because right now I'm on maximum (most disk space used) because I have about 500 gb and only want to do a video about 5 minutes long, and might need to back off a bit. Thanks

Also, please help, the video output seems to be a lot lighter than what my monitor is. Also, please tell me what the absolute best audio setting is.
