Question / Help Need help! Is my iMac 5k 2017 not powerful enough to stream?

Hello!
I'm running the iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, 3.4 ghz intel core i5, 8gb, Radeon Pro 570 4096 MB

I'm having an issue where I can't seem to figure out the best settings to stream in. It seems the computer can't handle CPU Usage Presets about "Very Fast" which makes the Stream look really messy. Can this computer only handle "Veryfast" under CPU Usage Presets? I have to run it in 720p, 60fps, 8000bitrate with "Veryfast" and it doesn't look that good at all. I just got the Elgato HD60 S and I'm using the work around to capture footage into OBS. Anyone have settings that could help me? Thank you!

The workaround is going to kill you. Window capture performance is terrible. If you want to use OBS on MacOS, stay away from Elgato.

Well it may not be the only factor, but as far as OBS concerned, window capture is the least performant method.

If he's trying to capture what the Elgato software is getting from the hardware into OBS, I think Syphon Inject probably won't work.
