I am probably late on this, I had to make an account, and my computer needed factory reset. You can run Obs on Windows Vista, but only on SP2. What you should do is update your drivers, and if the latest version cant run, run an older version.

Qt, that OBS Studio uses, will drop the Vista support, then win7, W8, win10... So, old systems is not recommended. The v21.1.0 has updated Qt libs.

Hey Guys,
I'm currently running Vista SP2 but need the Vista Platform update to run obs. Tried looking everywhere for it but no luck.
Couldn't anyone help with this?

That is outside the scope for OBS support. You'll have to get it from Microsoft.
Vista is end-of-life... heck, even Win7 is end-of-life. We no longer provide any support for them here, sorry to say, and must advise updating to at least Win8, preferably Win10.
