@all
does anyone have experiences with recoding a zoom videocast/interview (1 host I 1+x guests) via OBS. I already created the scenes and I am already using OBS for Zoom via virtual cam for live Zoom/Teams etc. But never recorded it, which brings me to the point to add an elate wave link 3 that should be recorded to and the "guest" from Zoom with his/her zoom video too.
I guess the easiest way would be recoding the Desktop and do everything in Zoom. But hey, OBS is so nice with scenes and all features, so I thought I will use OBS with my different scenes and would pin the "guest window" in zoom and will set that as a source for OBS so that will be the guest "cam".
I hope that idea is working. or are there any objections? due to sounds delay or so=?
How should the setup look like within OBS that I can also use my Elgato wave? I know its quite complex the setup, but I am sure some people tried that already and can help my with that, so I don't have to make the same mistakes and get frustrated as some others might have exoperienced.
Here is my setup
MacBook Air M1 , OBS(latest version) , Elgato wave 3, Sony Alpha 6000 als "webcam", Zoom will be the Software to get connected with the guests. I will be hosting. Its not live streaming. It will be just recoding for later publishing. But I want to have minimum post prod work at it is for an voluntary organization and time is very limited.
I hope that someone can help my with that.
Find attached the setup how it is so far.
Please let my know if more info is needed and if I explained the use case and what I need in a good way.
Thank you all so much in advance .
Bets regards
Markus
