Question / Help NDI Source not showing video or audio

Ive set up a new windows 10 machine with obs, installed skype and the ndi software set the skype setting to say enable it, so far all is ok. I have a friend with a mac who has skype on his machine and ndi installed as well (he's also ticked the box in skype to allow ndi), when we start a call and I try and add the NDI source I can see options for my skype account, his, speaker and the obs ndi output, but none of them are working and its doing my head in! This all worked fine before when I was on a crappy old mac but Ive switched up to a new uber windows 10 PC and now I can't get it to work, any suggestions on what I might have missed :/
