Question / Help NDI scan converter refresh rate issue

So I have been having some problems with my stream lately so I've been trying out the NDI scan converter method (switched from NDI plugin) for dual pc setups. I noticed that when I have the NDI connection running, I can visually tell the refresh rate on my gaming pc's monitor has gone down. I play on a 144hz monitor and it feels like 60hz (maybe lower idk). I recorded 2 samples, one with the NDI connection running and one without. You cannot tell a difference between the two. I could record a video using a camera if anyone would like to see.

Any help? Thanks.

Is your monitor set to 144Hz in Windows? Does it still occur if you minimize Scan Converter? Do you have a second monitor running at 60Hz?

Yes it's set to 144Hz. Isn't Scan Converter always minimized? I've only ever changed the settings through the tray icon. And I do have a second monitor running at 60Hz.

I have the same issue, and disabling my second monitor entirely through nvidia control panel "fixes" it... except now I can't see all my stream stuff.
It seems Scan Converter is forcing the primary monitor to perform the same as the secondary (60hz) monitor. Presumably because when you run Scan Converter, it captures all monitors, each as their own NDI Source. If you disable second monitor, run Scan Converter, then enable second monitor, everything seems smooth again (until you restart Scan Converter), because it's only capturing one monitor.
