Question / Help ndi runtime not found despite multiple installs

2019 MBP. latest Catalina, OBS, Skype, everything. get the dialogue box "NDI Runtime not found...." and click the link, run the installer.
nothing. zip. i have "installed" this half-a-dozen times to no avail. no runtime plugin in App Support.

and when i tried to use OBS to record a Skype call, my voice was heard by i couldn't hear the caller (and this was after setting up the Audio Capture stuff, as per numerous directions).

just doesn't seem like OBS and Skype will be compatible.

You need to install both the plugin and the runtime separately. Links to both are included on the download page for the NDI plugin.

as i noted, i did this. several times. to no avail. as far as i could tell, the NDI installed in the right place.

I've had this same exact issue. Both are installed and it continually does not recognize NDI Runtime. Trying to get OBS to recognize a captire card, but to no avail.
