NDI Plugin for Zoom & GoToMeeting

I'm using the NDI Plugin for OBS on my 2015 Macbook Pro. My goal is to send video and audio from OBS to Zoom and GoToMeeting. I have a basic Scene set up that includes video from my Sony a6500 (using it as a webcam), audio from an external mic, and a transparent PNG file which is my company logo.

When I open Zoom or GoToMeeting with OBS and select NDI as the source for audio and video, my machine really bogs down and there is a significant lag in the video to where it is unusable. If I close OBS and send the video and audio directly to Zoom or GoToMeeting, everything works properly.

I'm using a cheap capture card to pull in the video from my Sony a6500 - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08C9K1KSR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s03?ie=UTF8&psc=1.

I've attached my log file.

Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks!

Both Zoom and OBS are taking the video stream and compressing it in software, which requires a lot of CPU to do once, much less twice. It's possible that your computer just can't handle doing both at once. My 2017 MBP (4-core i7) can handle it, but I can tell that it is working hard.

There are a couple of approaches you might try. One is using a separate computer for Zoom. The other is cranking down the compression quality in OBS (veryfast/superveryfast, lower peak Mbps settings, etc.).
