NDI OBS mac is not showing up in sources

I have a MacBook Pro OS X El Capitan 10.11.6, OBS V24 and I downloaded the NDI 4.8.0 package, I have also tried the 4.9.1, 4.5.1 and the 4.5.2 and nothing is working. I also donwloaded the NDI 4.5.1 runtime but still nothing is working. If you can help me that would be much appreciated

I downloaded the projects and installed them but they never show up. I looked up a youtube video and it said to go through the package contents and copy files from one folder into another folder but I couldn’t find the files. Only the installation package shows up in my finder but I’ve installed it multiple times but I can’t find the files.

Okay, so you requested the apps from NDI, downloaded the dmg from NDI, ran the installers, restarted, launched NDI Virtual Input, and you don't see it in the menu bar? Is that right?

It's an app, called "NDI Virtual Input", included in the NDI tools. In the dmg provided by NDI there's an installer for it. Once installed, you need to have it running to select the input.

Did you get the tools here?

okay yeah i just did all the things you mentioned all over again and it still doesn't work even when i have NDI Virtual Input launched
