I have followed hundred of the tutorials on how to make the NDI source show up in OBS studio but it is not showing up no matter what I do. First when I download the NDI 4.9 plug in it disappears from my computer and I can not find it-only the installer package. One suggestion was taking off my firewall, which with all the internet downloading for this thing I do not trust doing.
I have tried deleting and reinstalling, both devices are using the same wifi network with full access to camera and microphone. I have tried the NDI USB connection and the wifi connection on the phone camera app. I have also now wasted close to 50 dollars on just trying different apps that everyone recommends works with OBS. I just wish there was other support since this is for my job as an educator. For a software that is so wide spread and touted as the one streaming platform-I can't find a solution to any problems I come across.
