Hi,
I'm trying to install NDI on my macs so I can use a second macbookpro over ethernet to handle encoding and streaming, leaving my main MacPro free to run Ableton with virtual instruments, playing music tracks and inputs from guitars.
At https://github.com/Palakis/obs-ndi/releases it says to download and install libndi4_4.5.1-1_amd64.deb and obs-ndi_4.9.1-1_amd64.deb
I've downloaded them, but these are not "installs" as I know them. The closest youtube video showing how to "install" these is on PC and he's referring to a looking for a folder in "program files" called OBS-Studio. No such folder showing on my Mac. I would think OBS would have created this folder on install but no.
This guy was dragging files from the two folders libndi4_4.5.1-1_amd64 and obs-ndi_4.9.1-1_amd64 into the windows folders. I can't replicate this procedure on Mac.
Do we have any Mac guys here that have done this procedure? Thanks in advance!
