NDI/Birddog not installing on OBS 28.1.2 on 2020 iMac Monterey

Hi folks,
I upgraded from a 2012 iMac on 10.11 to a 2020 iMac 3.8 i7 on 12.x Monterey, and I can't get successful installation of NDI and getting it to show up. I installed OBS first, then followed these instructions (https://github.com/Palakis/obs-ndi/releases) where I did "obs-ndi-4.10.0-Qt6-macOS.pkg" second and "NDI 4.5.1 macOS runtime". On the 10.11 system, NDI shows up, and on the 12.x/28.1.2 system NDI doesn't show up in the sources. Should I downgrade the new iMac to 11.x Big Sur?

Should I downgrade the new iMac to 11.x Big Sur?

That would be a wish thing to do, or you can install NDI monitor on the 12.x/28.1.2 system, Fire up NDI monitor and select the source, if you can see it then do a application capture in OBS.
