Question / Help My video doesn't record properly

So one day I was adjusting the recording quality (graphics/resolution) and frame rate but then my computer and apps/games lag too and the recording doesn't record anything like it gets cut off and freezes on my video. When I start recording, on the bottom, it said "encoding overloaded' so I don't know what to do at this point and my friend told me to lower down the bit rate and it would be less laggy but I don't really see the difference.

Your friend doesn't know what causes encoding overload. Bitrate has precisely NOTHING to do with encoding overload.

I got that from my computer and that's all it had for the log but with that date

and my computer speed is 2 ghz by the way
