Hey all. I'm trying to live stream so I can engage with my viewers.
I have a mid-tier iMac Pro. I am just using the built-in webcam. No matter what, I cannot get my live streams to work well. The stream always resorts to lagging, and it becomes unwatchable for my viewers. I know it can't be my internet because my Upload speed - when plugged in via Ethernet - is consistently 12-13 Mbps. And I am able to live stream without ANY lag using the YouTube app on my phone while connected to the same network via Wi-Fi.
Can anyone tell me what I should be looking for? My goal is to eventually be able to perform a professional multi-cam live stream for my viewers, yet I can't even make it work for - what I assume are - basic things. I noticed that on my OBS log, the fps is...30,000? I'm not sure what's going on, and I don't know how to change that.
