I almost replied originally, not with an answer because I didn't have one (and still don't), but with a possible clue. But I didn't because I thought that that clue would be obvious to anyone who could help.
I suspect that it's specific to your machine, if nobody has an answer by now.
Seems weird though, that a machine-specific problem would be that easily capture-able on the same machine. Those are usually a hardware failure of some kind, that a software capture like that wouldn't see. Do you have some bad drivers, perhaps?
