My recordings are coming out very laggy and choppy. I've tried changing my fps, bitrate and resolution, but they all look the same.

I'm pretty new to recording in general and have been trying to fix this by reading a few other threads, but I still haven't been able to fix the issue. These are 2 screenshots and my log for my last recording: https://obsproject.com/logs/0p0Zy3zuqupKjMA3

1. Using Windows Update, update to Windows 10 1909 or 2004 (if available) per https://obsproject.com/blog/five-simple-tips-for-new-streamers
2. At least one of your audio devices has a sample rate that doesn't match the rest. This can result in audio drift over time or sound distortion. Check your audio devices in Windows settings (both Playback and Recording) and ensure the Default Format (under Advanced) is consistent. 48000 Hz is recommended.
OBS Sample Rate: 48000 Hz
Headset Microphone (HyperX Virtual Surround Sound): 44100 Hz (change this in in Windows settings)
Headset Earphone (HyperX Virtual Surround Sound): 48000 Hz
3. Run OBS as admin
4. Build your scene using game/window/video capture device sources. Display capture is last resort.
5. Cap your game at 60 FPS
6. That log contains no recording or streaming session. Results of that log analysis are limited. Please post a link to a clean log file.
To make a clean log file, please follow these steps:

1) Restart OBS as admin.
2) Start your stream/recording for about 30 seconds. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your stream/recording.
4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Send that link via this troubleshooting tool or whichever support chat you are using.

Your new log doesn't show any rendering lag or encoder overload so you can try improving your game and/or video quality settings. For example, try changing the x264 preset from superfast to veryfast.

Microsoft will be ending support for your version of Windows 10 (1903) in December, so you will need to update soon.
