My recorded videos from obs and elgato lag

Hello, Im a new youtuber looking to upload content on youtube using my elgato and obs. I've had some really great gameplay lately but whenever I view what I just recorded it is in laggy and does not seem to be good content online because of it. I have been all around youtube looking for tutorials but what works for some doesn't seem to work for all. I'm using a new macbook air an hd60S+. I am looking for concise help to get me set up and I am willing to pay for it. My mbps download speed is at around 130 and my upload is around 9.
