Question / Help My OBS studio keeps skipping frames and looks very choppy and lags when streaming

So i just bought a Avermedia Avercapture HD and Im trying to start streaming but OBS doesnt let me do that. Whenever i run the program that came with the Avermedia i stream perfectly, when i add to capture card to OBS it lags dramatilcally in the preview screen and with streaming. The only thing i have is my capture card and my webcam. I tried looking up videos on YouTube but nothing seems to get the job done I really do need help. I really want to start streaming and OBS is the best program to use and it doesn't help me. Thanks!
