My obs recordings freeze when I try recording Sega Genesis Classics collection

Whenever I open up obs and try to record Sega Genesis Classics collection, it records the video, but then when I look at the video it only shows a few frames of my gameplay and freezes when I try playing, is there any way to fix this issue?
