Question / Help My OBS recordings are MEGA laggy!

So, um, i'm recording for my You tube channel like i always have and all of sudden today, my recording are so choppy they look like slideshows, altho when im playing the game its fine, but when i look at the recording its super choppy!

At age 10 you are not stupid, you are simply less experienced than older people. Your post is actually smarter than most of the other help request posts, because you described your problem clearly and concise and you included a log with a recording attempt.

In Settings->Output, try to set Encoder to "Hardware (QSV)" instead of x264.

And try a different media player to check your recordings. According to your log, you should see a small bit of lag and dropped frames for your videos, but not choppy or slideshow. A better media player such as vlc might display better video. With Quicksync (QSV) even these small lags should be gone.
