My OBS lags my game and my video quality heavily? Any suggestions?

Whenever I wish to record my game and open OBS......I encounter a sudden lag in my game and the OBS's video quality. It drops frame rate significantly and I tried literally everything.


My PC Configs:
GeForce GT 701 - Graphics Card
PC- Windows 10 64 Bits

I don't think it's an office PC, It has a very wide and big screen which is usually not found in offices but rather gaming.. Though I use this for a lot of stuff other than gaming so it doesn't have a lot of storage left.


I have seen people with slow gaming laptops recording with OBS smoothly. I definitely think my PC is better than those slow-performance gaming laptops. And yes nope I'm not buying a new pc......

(2/2) Btw why does OBS lags.....Why does it have to lag my recordings........Why does it have to drop frame rates............All it had to do is record the screen, not so difficult task.
