Question / Help My obs is very choppy

I've looked up videos on 1080p 60fps recording. Many. Like... 100's. All of them change tiny things which don't do anything for me. But, I have a very strong computer. And I dont know what the problem is. I've done monitor capture and other things. But it just doesn't look good and isn't reliable with fps. Please help!

You have rendering lag.
Reduce graphics needs in your game/vrcat. OBS needs same CUDA cores as your app/game. So, you need some spare space for OBS to render frames.

So I have to reduce the graphics in game and also delete some files on my PC for space?

NO. You don´t need to delete any file.

What I mean is this:
OBS uses GPU cores to render frames. So, if your game is using a 100% power or your GPU, OBS will not have "space" to render frames. Is not a question of physical space; it´s a cuestion of GPU power.

So, if I wanted to have less lag I need to turn down the graphics in the game in order to get less lag?

Yes.
Reduce gtaphics or set Vsync in to limit fps to your monitor (60 fps).
